Big Pigs!

My cute little pigs have grown very quickly and the black one is called Truffle and the orange one is called Toffee. truffle loves lots of food. Toffee is very cute and likes to do stupid things.
Every day I feed them and usually help my Dad take out the poo to the compost. We clean the water every week. They have straw and a good shelter. We let them out to play on the lawn. They have grown too big to put on their harnesses. I love my pigs. Even though they are a lot of work and make weird noises!

We went up to the Port Hills and did the Crater Rim track. I found a lot of rubbish next to the road so I decided to put it in a spare bag we had and take it the nearest rubbish bin . Lucky the rubbish bin was at the cafe so I had an ice cream.
I wrote a story in my book for home learning.

My Avatar

This is my avatar. It is a little picture of me but not like a photo. I can use it on my blog instead of using a photo. Check out my strange coloured eyes.

Bug Olympics

The bug olympics is serious stuff. Spiders do a food race.
Flys race as a plane in a circle. Dung beatles race who can get the most dung in 3 minutes and 8 seconds.

Now this is a relay race with 3 players per team. Spiders- on your mark, get set - GO! The spiders were speeding through the food. 1 minute and a spider is finished.

Next the flies - they are gliding through the air. 5 seconds and the other fly is in the  arena - but the first fly has finished!

Now the dung beatles -  the  amount of dung is approximately three meters high now. The second dung beetle attempted to attack all of the dung in one but the other beatle got there first now the race has ended.
